Duette® Honeycomb Shades
Today, more than ever before, it’s important for consumers to make eco-friendly purchases and conserve resources. When you choose motorized blinds, you are enhancing your home’s energy efficiency in a few ways.

Window coverings in general provide a layer of insulation, and options like Duette® Honeycomb Shades provide significantly more insulation than any other window treatment. Their unique cellular makeup traps air to keep your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter. This collection also offers improved acoustics as these shades absorb up to 70% of sound energy.
By adding PowerView® Automation to your honeycomb shades, you’ll have automatic shades to open and close at your convenience even if you aren’t home. Your electric blinds can open at midday during winter to allow sunlight to warm your home, and close at midday in summer to keep out the heat.

Using the PowerView® App, you can set individual Scenes that will control your window treatments. For example, program your living room Scene for your blinds to open at 8 am and program your kitchen Scene for your shades to close at 9 am. Whatever your schedule, PowerView® Automation can make it happen. Your Hunter Douglas automated system can also integrate seamlessly with most smart home systems, allowing you to have your window coverings open or closed when a change in temperature is indicated. This option also allows voice-control when operated with a smart home system.

PowerView® Programming

The PowerView® Hub stores settings and serves as a central point of control by using your home’s WiFi network. The Hub can interface with your smart thermostat, weather app, or home automation system.
If you prefer a dedicated handheld device, the Pebble® Remote is the perfect solution. The device is a contemporary take on the traditional TV remote and can effortlessly operate your window coverings. Use the “Favorite” button to set positions for each of the shades or blinds. To avoid misplacing your remote control, some people prefer a wall-mounted “Surface” remote.
